Show Your Gratitude Professionally This Thanksgiving!

Hi Fabulous Working Females!

Can you believe Thanksgiving is around the corner?! I sure can't. 2020 has been a crazy, stressful, overwhelming year. This year, more than ever, we have SO much to be thankful for.

In addition to being thankful for our family, friends, our health, delicious is also important to be thankful for our careers! Whether employed or unemployed, be sure to express gratitude professionally this Thanksgiving. Not only is this an opportunity to show your appreciation for those who have helped you, but also helps show your thoughtfulness and dedication to your work.

Send an Email to your team on Thanksgiving morning!

Although everyone should enjoy their day off from work (hopefully), it is always heartwarming to receive an email expressing gratitude on a holiday. Try something like:

Hi All,

Happy Thanksgiving! Just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work this year. I am so grateful to be a part of this team, and look forward to all that is to come!

Enjoy your day,

Text your Boss and/or Coworker a Happy Thanksgiving!

It is always nice to send a personal note quickly to those you work with on a daily basis. All it takes is a

"Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your day :)" to express your gratitude.

It seems small, but going out of your way like this will always be remembered.

Don't forget about your Mentor(s)!

If you are employed or unemployed, this is a great way to get back in touch with those that you may have not talked to in a while, or someone that has made an impact on your professionally. Shoot this person a

"Happy Thanksgiving! Just wanted to thank you for all you have done for me. I hope all is well, let's set up time to connect soon!" e-mail or text.

Trust me, a little goes a long way.

Seem silly? That's ok, a lot of networking tips seem like no-brainers to some. But do you always do it? That is the question. Taking small steps to show your gratitude and appreciation is important. So much so, we have a holiday for it! So, in between courses, be sure to thank someone who has helped you professionally. It will put a smile on their face, for sure.

While we're here. Thank you to all of you, Fabulous Working Females. You have given me support, a motivational outlet, and something I love doing. I appreciate you all so much!

And Remember,
